From Anoka to Fargo, we are midway between the two at about 2 hours from each. It is a great central location for meeting your friends.

Accessibility

• There is a handicap accessible entrance in the back of the building, via the alley. This may be used for unloading and loading, a cart is also provided. This enters into the Butler’s Pantry. (please see guidelines for the use of this entrance) One car at a time and in an efficient manner if others are waiting. Please Do not block alley or create a nuisance for neighbors.

Butler’s Pantry

• The Butler’s Pantry (named this because it is dry, without a sink) is on the main floor, this will be the heart of your weekend, as far as for food and beverages. You will find 2 large refrigerators (one with an upper freezer), plus a smaller refrigerator for beverages, and a microwave. There is ample counter space in the butler’s pantry as well as just outside in the serving area. Here you will find I have provided disposable plates, glasses, silverware. Do not plug in any additional electrical items, such as keurig, crock pot, etc. in this room. Due to the amount electric draw with the refrigerators, etc.

Great Room – Crafting~ Quilting Spoken Here

• Great Room is spectacular with oak hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and beautiful original windows. Coming soon is a flannel wall for you quilters! I also provide 2 ironing boards, extension cords, and power strips. Also in the Great room are additional seating options, sofa and overstuffed comfy chairs, and a table and chairs for your meals so you can take a break.

Kitchen

• The Kitchen is located in the lower level like most churches of this era, it is huge and there is enough room for everyone! There is a commercial stove with 10 burners and 2 ovens, more counter space than you’ll need, and a large refrigerator. Provided are all kitchen needs, plates, glasses, silverware, utensils, pot, pans, coffee maker, air pot, toaster, crock pot, blender, serving bowls, etc. including towels. Please keep an eye while cooking on the stove as the burners run hotter than yours at home. And oven may take a bit longer than thought, but you’re not on a schedule, plan ahead. Dishwashing soap will be provided but no dishwasher. And leave it as clean as or cleaner than when entered. Leave the basket in the sink, and empty it when done. Pretty much just common sense when staying with a large group.

Bathrooms

• Bathrooms are located on both levels, on the main is a ¾ bath with the shower; this is divided into 3 spaces for people to use, sink, stool, and shower. See rules in the bathroom, for cleaning the shower after your use, hanging towels, your toiletry bag (in your room), etc. Pretty much just common sense when staying with a large group. Included are q-tips, hairdryer, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, towels, wash clothes etc. Leave it as clean as or cleaner than when entered. In the lower level there are 2 more bathrooms, with 3 stools total, typical for this era.

Retreat Coordinator ~ Bonus

• The Retreat Coordinator is the contact person putting the retreat together, due to all of the work that is needed to put a retreat together, my thank you to that person is a bonus complimentary weekend. So why contact me and get yours???? With 11 paying guests minimum.

General Guidelines

• Emergency contact; the retreat coordinator, will be provided with an emergency contact and I will be available 24 hours a day. I also post it for everyone on the Butler’s Pantry door.
• I provide everything but your food/beverages, and crafting supplies.

Occupancy

• I would like a minimum of 12, if you have a smaller group call me to discuss details depending on the season. Maximum occupancy of 18 guests with doubling up in queens or king beds. But at this number you may not have 2 tables, and may need to provide additional lights as I only have 10 Ott lights.

Cost

• Less than most other retreats, and with a larger and better space than most, at $50 per night per person (Friday and Saturday) so, that means $100 for the weekend, AND I will throw in Thursday night as a bonus at no cost!!! 4 days, 3 nights for only $100!! I supply everything but your food/bev. and crafting supplies. What a deal!

Payment

• The coordinator will collect the fee from each person in the group. And send one check. She will also collect on a spread sheet everyone’s names, address’, phone and email.
