We are located in Staples, MN which is a historic railroad town, in North Central MN on US Highway 10, just 30 miles west of Brainerd ~ Baxter MN, and at the edge of the Brainerd Lakes Area, where the prairie meets the pines.

We have 2 Amtrak trains stop daily in Staples. Choose to arrive by train, and we’ll pick you up at our historic depot.

We specialize in RETREATS for scrapbooking, quilting, stamping, knitting, crafting, beading, girlfriend weekends, spiritual well being, yoga and wellness retreats, youth hostels, church and couples retreats, family reunions, etc.

We offer additional GROUP LODGING rentals for family reunions, golf outings, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, canoeing, etc. We have a huge parking lot for all of your toys.

We offer space for WEDDING RECEPTIONS, CLASSES, MEETINGS, SEMINARS, PARTIES, etc.
